Each year, the Ohio Coalition for the Education of Children with Disabilities (OCECD) presents an award to one student and one educator or educator team from each of Ohio's 16 regions. These awards recognize the achievements of students with disabilities and educators/teams who make outstanding contributions to the education of students with disabilities.
Nominations can be submitted online and the deadline is April 15, 2024. Nonimees from Region 10 will be featured on SST10's website and Facebook page. One student and one teacher nominee will receive a formal invitation to an in-person ceremony to recognize their achievement. The ceremony, hosted by OCECD, is scheduled to take place on June 11, 2024 at 1:00 PM at location to be determined.
