The Office for Exceptional Children, in partnership with the Ohio Federation of Teachers and the Ohio Education Association, is offering a special May office hour session on the topic of Specially Designed Instruction (SDI). Please join us for an overview of SDI in Ohio, including the state and federal regulations, how to document SDI on the Individualized Education Program (IEP), and how it plays into a teacher’s workload and caseload. In addition, the Oct 2025 memo released by the Department on SDI will be discussed as well as provide real life examples. Please be sure to register for these special office hours!
