Child Outcome Summary (COS) Training is required for any preschool staff that facilitates the process or supervisors who monitor and/or provide booster training on the process. Part 1 is required to be completed at least once. After initial completion, participants can take Part 1 or Part 2 to support their needs.
Part 1 provides the foundational knowledge of the COS to understand the federal preschool special education child outcome performance measure, requirements, timelines, and rating process.
