Ohio Network of Partnership Schools Advanced Learning Session
Join district and school leaders from across Ohio for a session focused on attendance. Led by Dr. Steven Sheldon, Associate Professor at Johns Hopkins School of Education and a Co-Director of the Center for School, Family, and Community Partnerships, participants will explore evidence-based practices that support student attendance, reflect on attendance goals, and discuss the real challenges families face in getting their children to school each day. We’ll also hear real-life, school examples from Madison Comprehensive High School and receive an attendance update from Patrick Hickman at the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.
Who: Ohio district and school leaders, regional coaches, teachers, school team members, and others involved in improving school attendance!
