In this training participants will:
- Understand the federal preschool special education child outcome performance measure
- Understand the Child Outcome Summary (COS) requirements, timelines, and rating process
NOTE: Part 1 is required for all individuals that will facilitate the collection of information to identify rating scores for a preschooler with disabilities. Anyone with a certificate verifying a State Support Team (SST) Consultant has provided COS part 1, meets the requirement. Additionally, supervisors that will train booster sessions for staff need to complete this tarining with an SST Consultant at least once.
