Special Education Procedural Safeguards Notice
The 2021 AASCD testing window originally scheduled to end March 19 will now run February 2-March 26, 2021
For those in need of support for AASCD administration, ODE has posted the AASCD powerpoint and training notes on the Alternate Assessment Portal. This resource is the same information SSTs are using to train new test administrators and support refresher courses.
In addition to the PPT, the Test Administration Manual (TAM) is required reading for all test administrators. The manual is only available online and will not be sent to districts. If a student requires either the supplemental or paper version of the AASCD there is an additional manual online. It is also strongly encouraged to review the Guidance Document for online tests.
We would encourage all districts and staff involved in the administration of the AASCD to review all the resources in the portal.
If your district has specific questions that need clarification please email Marcia Watts at firstname.lastname@example.org.
